The Melaka Zoo & Night Safari had a beary fun school holiday with its Malayan Sun Bear Awareness Programme during the 27 May-4 June 2017 term break.
The programme featured exhibitions throughout the nine-day period, and children and adults alike came for some sun bear exposure. Activities lined up included interactive games and scheduled keeper talks. |
As a special event for opening day, there were wildlife talks by MNS, Perhilitan and the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre. Additionally, the first two days featured colouring sessions and drawing contests for children aged 6-12.
Overall, it was a merry and educational way to introduce the Malayan sun bear to the younger generation. |
